Hi forumites,
I hope you are enjoying your Friday so far. I just wanted to start a new topic to see what you guys think. We all know that the most attractive (by attractive I don’t mean just looks but overall) of all men would probably get still far less attention than any other female. In fab, in Tinder and in real life 
I have always wonder the reason for this. I reckon that men in general are way less picky or selective (call it desperate if you prefer) than women. And I wonder if men became like women in that sense, could the situation improve for them?
What are your thoughts on this? Also, I would hate if this thread turns into people fighting against each other. There is always room for every opinion as far as we are all respecful.

Apparently on dating sites the tables are turned, in that the women outnumber the men. So the women are all fighting for attention amongst hundreds of other women, for only a few men.

There’s been quite a few previous threads about this OP.
The general consensus seems to be that majority of men think with their appendage whereas most women think intelligently.
Please note I did say ‘majority’ not all men or women. |

Some are not all tho seems to me the most desperate folks are the ones who simply dont know how to talk to people let alone what to to if they actually got a girl

I think the premise that this is a battle between men and women sets a difficult tone in the first place.
Generalisations have a grain of truth to them but you can't impose a generalised 'solution' and expect a 'correction' to imbalance. As Steel mentioned, the numbers work the other way on dating sites.
Not all women are feted on here. I have tested the pickiness of men by sending FAF type messages to men. I get blocked or ignored.

I don’t think all women aren’t picky, and all men are desperate.
But, I do think men aren’t as picky as women. I think because males tend to be more visual, and women tend to take in everything looks, personality, chemistry etc.
Again, there are exceptions to the “rule”.  |
