My aunty worked in Rowntrees development department and I can remember her bringing some of those and Lion bars round in plain white wrappers when they were being tested. She often used to bring stuff round for us to "consumer" test for her. |

and "Bubbly" which was in a yellow wrapper with blue ends."
With Bazooka Joe I seem to remember the inside wrapping had items you could send off for??. However being in the UK it wasn't possible to buy them due to being American import costs.
Did I imagine this? |

no i remember it had glossy paper advertising xray specs etc.. Couldn't send off as in usa. Ruined my whole life it did ! |
