Alone for 3 or 4 months.
Somebody shot the front window through next door in the middle of the night, during the first week.
It felt like a bad move at the time. |

First time, was when I joined the Navy, which didn't last as long as planned so not sure it counts as I was back home after I left.
Next time, was to go off travelling with a mate, which again was short lived.
The final time was to move in with mates |

I left home just before my 16th birthday.
Moved into a house that was rented by friends.
It was a huge old Victorian house, 8 bedrooms & 12 of us living in it.
It was the 80s & we had some mad parties every weekend  |

I haven't left home, my mum became disabled when I was 19 and could no longer afford to buy the family home so I took over the mortgage. Then her disability got to the stage where she couldn't manage stairs on a daily basis so managed to get her a bungalow and I'm still in the family home |

Moved out a couple weeks after leaving school to a dodgy bed sit then to a slightly less dodgy flat with a boyfriends ex girlfriend after I persuaded a guy I was seeing to shag her and split them up. It was very complicated but loads of fun.

Alone, age 17. I was doing A levels and got found a room in a house share by social services after sofa surfing for 4 months. I left home due to domestic violence. |

Well I left my family home when I was 18 as I wasn't safe there anymore. Technically alone but I moved into a shared house. Lived alone for six years now though. |
