It's true and it works!
I found a way to keep the feet dry by wearing waterproof SealSkinz socks, however, they were cold.
So I wore a hat to give it a try to see if the saying is true, and it is!

The saying that you loose most of the heat through your head is only true as the experiments were done on soldiers who were wrapped up in every other area of their body - except their heads!
Of course you'll loose most heat through the only part of your body that's not covered.
However, did you know that it's been proven that if your feet are warm when you go to bed, you'll fall asleep faster?

This doesn't surprise me cos I find it hard to sleep if I have cold feet!
Conversely, if they are too hot, I can't either |

Got an electric underblanket with a booster function to heat up the area for the feet to a slightly higher temperature.
I can't sleep with cold feet either.

Cant stand getting into a warm bed. But at the min my feet are constantly cold (i hate socks and slippers) but when they get warm in bed I cant stick them out as I cant sleep without being cocooned (sorry for spelling on my phone) I'm terrified of something touching me in my sleep so have to get wrapped up even in just a sheet..
Yes Im weird I know |
