Waking up to the sound of the dawn chorus, watching a thunderstorm sitting under the canopy of my tent, walking out of the tent to snow-covered ground, winter sun on my face, walking the dog in the countryside etc. etc...

Don't know about "alive", but love being away in my 'home from home', relaxation and peace.
And top of the pile has to be a certain site in the Highlands, with literally hundreds of miles of paths and tracks on the doorstep.
Alive? Yes actually, hardly another soul about, surrounded by hills and moorland.......

On the odd occasion when my other half gets home......sitting on a stormy seafront, the waves crashing up the beach.....eating chips out of paper.
Just sitting there on that old wooden bench with my loved one on a cold winter afternoon is everything to me... |

Even though I been doing scooter rallies for 24 years I still get a huge buzz and pumping of blood as I set off to somewhere with half the house on the scooter.
Our frequent visits to Elland Rd, Leeds is a near 2nd, although annoying 90 minutes later lol. |

Being one with nature.
Whether skiing down a snowy mountain, having snowball fights with Titch. Water-skiing across a smooth glass-like Loch Tay at five am.
Sitting on the rocks at the beach with my dogs and watching the sun go down or the moon come up.
Puddle-jumping with my grandson and twirling my light-up brolly in the rain.
Sitting smelling the flowers and listening to the bees in a hot summer garden.
........all that makes me feel alive.
Nature in all her glory is Gods own Cathedral. xx |

It's fascinating thast the replies are so different. Thanks for answering, everyone!
For me, it's anything from seeing a personally well-known view transformed by a magificent sunset, an animal being born and that first breath of life- get a shiver down my spine every single time-, to facing my huge fears by diving from the high board into the pool during a training session and being sure I was going to die then realising I was still breathing- wow. But never want that particular feeling again lolol |

After sex,for me I feel so alive when I'm working at the scaffolding.
Muscles pumped with veins prominent after a good shift and a real sense of satisfaction with a safe job well done.
Even better when your 300ft up hanging by your balls looking down at the ants below.
Christ I must be crazy..................
Magic! |

Seeing the apple blossoms on my street in full bloom on a sunny morning.
Hearing a cheerful song...one that has my feet tapping.
Leaving the hair salon after five hours of Nadine working her magic.
Seeing my ex-husband!
My children when they occasionally hug me and say "I love you mum" without adding "can I have..." |
