When Dr Strange made that one sign at Iron Man. Heartbreaking. Sobbed.

But I loved the very clever storytelling - using scenes from previous films from a different point of view.

I wish Loki had had more of a role to play. Or popped up with the stone. Mainly because more Loki is never a bad thing.

Natasha's death was awfully sad as well and Hulk's reaction to it.

All the emotions. All the references. Loved it.

It was heartbreaking. Stark's daughter? The final scene with her about the cheeseburgers? It's like going full circle to the start of the whole Universe.

And that dance. The flipping dance they finally had the chance to have. It was just perfect and sad.

Ahhh but there is something at the end....

A sound bite of Tony Stark making the Iron Man suit in the cave in Iron Man. Clink clink clink clink... but you have to stay right to the end, tell the cinema staff 4 times 'I know there are no end credits' and hold your ground.....

Sob sob sob.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I really enjoyed the movie and the creative use of past occurrences from previous films was brilliantly done. The acting across the board was very good and conveyed each character's internal struggle to cope with the aftermath of the previous film.

The ending was heart breaking and does give a sensation of things having come full circle.

The one big gripe I had is Captain Marvel. The character itself is completely unnecessary in the current run of MCU films. Her solo film was awful, with terrible storytelling, bad acting and a venomous injection of SJW crap into a beloved franchise. She is massively overpowered and is practically a match for Thanos with the gauntlet. With her around, who needs the Avengers anyway? she could've shown up sooner and saved everyone a world of hurt! Just no. Thankfully they kept her role here to a minimum, though even her limited lines of dialogue were cringe worthy.

They should never have brought in time travel.

I hate time travel stuff as it just opens up a can of worms and more questions than answers and a load of what ifs and buts.

I also felt it didn't flow aswell as infinity wars and the pacing was a bit off.

My biggest gripes with the movie was these...

They ruined thor

They ruined hulk

No hulk vs thanos part 2

That was so dissapointing.

Hulk didnt do have any action what so ever he was just the comic releif.

Captain marvel being completely OP (glad she only had 15 mins airtime).

How did thanos get his ship and army through through the qauntum zone into the future without having the formula to so, nebula only had 1 vail and her past self used it to return to the future.

The movie had too many suspension of believe moments thst pull you out of the movie, the worst culprit being that all female scene where they was all together at that precise spot on a huge battlefield.

But anywayyyyyy good film and ill give it 7.5 out of 10.

However......

If they really was going to go down the time travel route here is how i think the movie could have been improved and get a 9/10 and its all in the first 30 mins.

This is what i would have liked happen in first 30-40 mins.

The start stays the same, captain marvel brings tony stark back to earth ect.

Then when they go and find thanos hes used the power stones to destroy the power stones but instead of it making him almost a cripple and incapable, destrying the stones had no impact on his pysical self so he was still a huge dominating physicsl threat.

He sees then entering the atmosphere so he puts on his armour.

Captain marvel still thinking she doesn't need to be a team member thinks she can take him solo goes straight for him whilst the others are landing the ship.

Thanos then proceeds in absolutely wrecking captain marvel and humbling her making her realise thst to beat this guy she actualy will need to work as a team.

Whilst she is down and out for a bit the others come.

A nice large action scene where thanos is still just on top and getting the better of the team.

Then just as hes about to stomp on black widow...banner goes into hulk mode and rage mode and then we get the thanos vs hulk part 2...only this time hulk gets the better of thanos whilst the rest ofteam get themselfs adjusted and back on their feet....then working together they eventually restrain him...more dialogue happens then thor does the head chop... then the movie carrys on the way it does.

I feel this would have been so much better.

The movie lacked an early action scene and waited for over 2 hours for it to happen.

This way we get the hulk v thanos part 2 and also the thanos from infinity wars goes out with a proper fight and not out with a whimper like how he did.

Thats my two pennys worth anyway.

That made me shed a tear when Stark said that while looking in his daughter's direction in the video message at the end.

Captain America was a perfect touch to a perfect ending for Chris Evans role.

Take a look through MCU from phase 1 to Endgame and every Captain America and Avengers movie makes reference somewhere to Steve Rogers being "late for a date"

Was an idealistic ending for Captain America.

I feel like I need to see it again, I was so caught up in 'what happens' that I wasn't really taking it all in.

The whole 'time heist' thing kind of threw me but I loved the big battle and the emotional resonance with Thor, Black Widow, Tony and finally Cap was right on the money.

I thought that Hawkeye gone Ronin was brilliantly played by JR too, so much pain!

I need to watch it again though to take more in.

The whole thing was different, it's been very well thought out to entertain in a completely different way from a different set of perspectives.

The time heist moments where they all jumped into different years to steal the stones was genius.

The fight between 2014 captain America vs 2019 Captain America was brilliant

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I really enjoyed it. The time flew by. That first hour was a good set up. I laughed, cried, gasped and had to search my memory to make all the links.

Thor and Hulk were funny.

It tied up some of the story lines.

It left questions unanswered and created additional questions by breaking their own time travel rules.

I want to know what happens to the Tesseract that Loki has swiped.

I can't work out how Cap going back doesn't fuck up everything and still be in the same ti_eline to be sitting on that bench at the end.

Is there a Gamora out there ready to appear in Asgardians of the Galaxy? (I loved that joke at the end.)

Do we get a black Captain America now?

Will the Captain Marvel storylines all be from other galaxies or will she fast forward to now and be operating here?

The sound at the end was just a tribute to Iron Man.

Captain Marvel spoils it for me. Destroys a massive space ship by flying through it a couple of times but then needs a shoehorned in bit of "girl power" to make it a couple of hundred yards. No warmth to the character, you don't root for her like you do any of the others (even Ant Man)

Disagree!! my daughter absolutely loved captain marvel and to see her face when she flew in during the battle was the highlight of the film for me, I’m glad she has female superhero’s to look up to

Massive ship was an inanimate object that couldn't fight back against her in the same way. I loved that part! No shame. Women lifting each other up and fighting side by side. Love. It.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against female superheroes, I just find the character lacking in depth and could have had so much more. I am still hopeful that there will be more to come to allow her character to develop

We like Captain Marvel too, all teenage boys over here.

One of the great things about sci-fi, fantasy, superhero genres is their history of taking on the issues of the day with a response that speaks to those outside of the mainstream.

Some may see that female banding together power scene as (insert derogatory term) but it's a tiny scene in a largely male character dominated film that speaks to millions of people who have been waiting for such a moment.

All we've had is one origin film. We've still got time to get to know and love her. Tony Stark wasn't that great in the beginning. I almost didn't follow through with the rest of the films.

"

I want to know what happens to the Tesseract that Loki has swiped.

I can't work out how Cap going back doesn't fuck up everything and still be in the same ti_eline to be sitting on that bench at the end. "

I falley agree. It needed mor seens with Loki.

( or at lest have him get beeton up by hulk agen )

As for captain America. We'll that's the problem. With time travel in storey lines. If its not dun properly it leaves loos ends.

"I really enjoyed it.

I'm interested as to how they're going to do the Black Widow film since she's now dead. "

It's obviously going to be a precall movie.

In a town Fab forgot

Not sure if anyone's seen this;

Open a Google browser.

Search Thanos.

Where the search results come up, click on the infinity gauntlet icon that appears on the screen.

It was on the right of the search results when I did it.

No need to thank me......

"Do we get a black Captain America now?"

There was a black Captain America in the comics and a series where Steve Rogers appoints Falcon as his official replacement.

What if, when Captain America returns the stone he exchanges it for her life. It is a life for the stone type of a deal! If it works one way it might also work the other way.

He can summon lighting cause of he of the spell put on the hammer by odin. He who is worthy to hold this hammer shall possess the power of thor.

Falcon in the comics was captain America but not before bucky so that was a bit of a wtf moment for me but in the movies cap is so close with falcon so guess made sence in mcu that he would give it to him

Thinking about it that whole 5 year timw jump is messy messsy stuff.

In the comics it was much cleaner, they reset it to a before the snap happened.

Spiderman said it was like taking a nap when he was dusted and when the unsnapping happened he was in same spot where he was dusted.

So thinking about that.... how many husbands, wifes had moved on with new partners in 5 years and are in bed only for their ex partners to undust and reappear in bed not knowing 5 years had passed.

What about millions that where in their cars driving, they just reappear in middle of a motorway and get squished.

Or people that was on a plane, now reappearing and falling to their deaths.

4 billion people coming back into exsisting 5 years later whilst the other 4 billion people had been getting on with life for 5 years.

Thats some traumatic shit, plus since the world was halfed for 5 years that would mean less food and medicins but instantly the population just grew by 4 billion.

Thats gonna be a world wide catastrophe.

The more you think about it the more nessed up it becomes.

I think I watched a different film to most of you, it was three hours of entertainment, and those questioning the ti_elines and how things are possible I just want you to cast your mind back to the first movie in the whole cinematic universe when a man gets turned into a big green rage monster by gamma rays, it’s a film enjoy it for what it is and all shout ‘fuck yea’ when Cap’ kicks thanos’s big purple ass with Miljnir

Just my ten pence worth

Yes! That was one of my thoughts last night, too. Although, with the Soul Stone returned is there a ti_eline she can occupy?

Her solo film is a prequel I’m sure "

I'm not so sure. Her history is all solo spy stuff and rather sketchy, not really MCU fodder, especially as a way to kick off phase 4. I've got a feeling that they will bring her back, recovering her from the soul stone.

My thought was more whether they make a whole new Captain America set of films with Falcon as Cap? Or, will he just appear in other films?
