My Thursday Rant Day rant is work related.
Just for a change. 
Finally got my new job offer through, accepted and soooooooooo looking forward to telling my prick of a boss to shove his job up his arse.
Nicely of course.
Just found out he's gone abroad for 3 months, thus denying me a measure of self satisfaction and pure delight.

Looking for a new job.
I honestly feel like I'm just begging to be wanted now .
Numerous interviews, some roles two or three and still a rejection.
Roles that you know you would be perfect for and not even an interview.
Lengthy application process and not even a response.
Recruitment consultants who are patronising beyond belief.
My confidence is currently at an all time low.

A group of peers has said free TV licences for over 75's and other outdated age-related benefits should be scrapped.NO WRONG. it's TV licences that should be scrapped for everyone we live in a world of Internet advertising |

Feel that pain regularly - often in connection to new kit. 'Install this before using it' and ignoring the fact that when you connect to it, it will also install some drivers and you'll need to reboot

Not used my backpacking tent for couple of years
Thinking it was in the old airing cupboard upstairs.

Spent all morning, searched everywhere possible in the house.
It was in the plastic garden storage thing with all my tools? I'd never put it out there.
Remembering I leant it to eldest son last summer.
It's a bit damp & very smelly....
Aaaaaaargh!
Now erected at the end of the garden & hoping it dries out before tomorrow evening
Why can't kids put things back where they got them from??

So like the amazing friend I am, I queued for tickets for just over a hour to a show. He said he wants to do cultural "stuff". Now he wants to sack the culture and do me instead.

My cousin sent me a message on Facebook the other day telling me one of his friends is interested, so I message her and this morning I get a lovely response from her ''James was joking, I don't know you, you're not my type, never message me again!''. So I promptly messaged my cousin saying that if it was his idea of a joke he's a massive cunt. |
