I like shopping for clothes by myself, but not with others
I find myself looking for their acceptance / validation
I don't like shopping for clothes on the net
I like being tactile with the garments - and because I am a pretty boxy shape, I need to try them on |

I hate shopping for clothes with others too. I also dislike trying them on, but I generally know what will suit me (not boxy but definitely atypical for fashion). I have to feel the material, look at the colours under different lights and hold it up against my skin.
I'm hoping to get a few hours to myself in Manchester tomorrow to find a top to go with my fabulous new trousers.

I love clothes and I love shopping, I wish that I had more money so that I could indulge this habit even more!
I buy all my own clothes, my late wife learnt very early on in our relationship that it was best not to shop for me! |

I like clothes but find shopping intensely frustrating, I am short in stature, also very short-bodied with a high waist and breasts that are a size larger than the rest of me, getting clothes to fit is a struggle. |

I start off with enthusiasm but quickly get bored. There aren't a lot of things that really appeal to me and they have to fit a certain way and not irritate. When I find something I do like and can tolerate, it is worn to death until the horror comes of needing to replace it. No, I dont like shopping. |

Uniqlo open a new store on Market Street tomorrow
The first in the UK outside London
It's all a bit 'young' (and small sized) for me, but it's a nice addition to the high street in a time where many are struggling |

I hate clothes shopping so buy most of my stuff on line or in charity shops. We have an arrangement in our house, Mr N trawls the net for clothes for me, puts links in a folder, I go through them and order the stuff I like, he then transfers the money to my account to pay. He does the same with holidays. One of my friends told me I don't know how good I've got it I just think we play to our strengths. |

I don’t do it frequently but I buy all my own clothes and enjoy clothes shopping. I rarely buy clothes online. I do ask for a second opinion when I’m not shopping alone or when I get home. I have never returned anything after a second opinion though. |

Now see, holidays I could shop for all day long
The amount of travel apps on my phone has been described as 'startling' by some |

Probably
We had thunder & lightning earlier so it's a wise move
I'm off to the land of Irn Bru & Haggis tomorrow morning
I am being brave / stupid / optimistic and only packing 1 pair of trousers, but 2 pairs of shorts
I intend to dodge the showers
And I mean if anyone is used to seeing milk bottle white legs, it's the Scots right ? |

Take wet weather footwear, if nothing else.
I'm considering a trip to Edinburgh before I return to work.

There and to the left a bit |
I very rarely find anything I like when I go shopping for clothes and even more so if I'm looking for something specific - I tend to have something in mind in my head and if I don't see anything that matches it I get bored easily and give up.
So most of my clothes shopping tends to either be on-line or impulse buys on the rare occasions something catches my eye.
I also tend to go a little mad any time Superdry has a sale on on-line!! |
