Yup! Worked breakfast shifts yesterday and today too, but I'm not in until 5pm tomorrow so I'll have had 29 hours away from the place. Double time tomorrow too. |

It's probably the thing I dislike most about it. We only get double time xmas day, which is an ever bigger kick in the teeth when you're working all the bank hols *growl*

We get triple pay on Christmas but I flatly refuse to work Christmas. Any other day in the festive period but not Christmas.
I've been doing hospitality work since I was 16 and this is the first job where I've gotten double pay on bank holidays. Still a novelty to be honest. |

I've got a really busy week and really need the extra money so I'm going to try really hard just to get on with it without complaining |
