"Vodka "
My mum went to Poland and brought me back potato vodka and barley vodka. Kept them for a while but Queen Leviosa put them in her cocktail when she was d*unk. I’m assuming they taste the same as normal vodka... |

Roasties, Dauphinoise, Bombay Aloo (ie curried). Croquettes. Hash Brown's. Also honourable mentions to Bubble & Squeak or a nice Glamorgan Sausage. And Birds Eye Potato Waffles go straight to room 101. |

"I like them in chip or crisp form. Or mashed. Baked is ok too but only with loads of butter and cheese.
Don't like roast or boiled."
But roasties are the best |

Roast potatoes (sweet potatoes or normal are equally delicious), chip shop chips done in beef dripping, and those McCain gastro chips which are the best tasting home cook frozen chips I've ever tasted bar none! |

An unexpected treat when in a pub, usually Sunday lunch / afternoon and they pop some roast potatoes on the bar. Pinch of salt, pint of beer - lovely. |

Yep all these complicated potatoes are very nice, but a good new potato, rinsed and boiled in its skin served with butter is hard to top. Unless you sprinkle a bit of cheese over it of course |

"Why is it that when talking about an unusual shape like an asteroid they always describe it as 'potato shaped'?"
I am sure that given the right growing conditions a potatoe could be shaped like a Ferrari, which would give the car manufacturer the dubious advertising slogan, Ferrari, shaped like a potatoe |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I see what you mean about your threads, OP.
I love potatoes, most ways but don't like potato waffles (what is that?), or as hash browns.
It's New Potato season so either just boiled and then butter, salt and pepper or, boiled and then tossed in the frying pan whole with some olive oil.
Roast potatoes can be a bit hit or miss. If done well then I want them. Done badly they spoil the roast dinner. The same with chips.
It's almost impossible to ruin a jacket potato or mash.

Roast in goose or duck fat. But tbh any form of potato is amazing as long as it’s not sweet |
