Everyone on here likes to give the best account of themselves (or most do at any rate) and put the best bits of themselves forwards. However we also all have aspects of ourselves that might be seen as 'less than savoury'.
So folks, what do you consider to be your faults, foibles or failings?
Obviously I'm exempt from this because I'm a fucking delight... |

I can be very critical - if it makes things better, of myself just as much as others. Means I can be very picky when choosing meets! |

What happens with these threads, is people get humble brags in. For example, I always put other people first it’s one of my failings, or I just care too much. Or I always tend to see the good in others. |

I'm extremely defensive and hide behind sarcasm. It takes quite a lot to get past these barriers and get to know me fully. When people do they realise I'm soft as hell, but very few get to that stage. |

The problem isn't so much about bragging, how others with copious amounts of negativety view what others say as bragging. You can't with with these people, whether being honest about ones best or worst qualities, they'll just see it as a form of bragging.
Those people tend to be natural braggers themselves I feel and don't like the new competition. |

I can come across as a bit negative as I do like to ask questions or challenge something to find out what's the motivation in order to get a perspective on what's behind something. Some see this as threatening. It's just me learning more and being open to a new way of seeing something. I'm also a giver, 100% and some have commented that I don't receive well...I'm learning. |

I think that's a tough judgement to make for someone, people are here for many reasons and only the individual can know if its a benefit or detriment to them.
I recognise that your comment is meant with support but sometimes fab can be good to just find others to talk or as a distraction.

So basically I try to be totally carefree but fail a lot due to over analysis.
I then over react and go the wrong way.
I am at my most relaxed when I go with the flow.
This follows through into work. I can agonize over sending an email as I worry about how it will be seen.
I also have staff and instead of managing and delegating I tend to become a super doer.
Getting better at that and super doer has benefits when the shit hits the fan though. |

That's not a malfunction that's a virtue I would agree but some think your heartless or emotionless when nothing could be further than the truth"
This is true also a lot of people don't believe it. Mind you my father (who I get not caring what people think about me from) has taken not caring what people think to the extreme now that he's in his nineties and it's proving quite difficult to deal with. |

I can get bouts of anxiety and lose my confidence.
I trust my gut instinct more than I trust people.
I MAY forgive but I'll never forget, and if I'm genuinely hurt by something it hurts me deeply, yet I'm not weak even though I may sound it.
I can be lazy at home.
Once my trust is broken it will probably never be rebuilt, and I'll withdraw.

Over-thinker
Far too self-critical
Lack self-confidence
Fairly reserved in social situations

Impulsive
And a few more besides...but other than that I'm alright!! |

I’m my own worst critic, emotionally I can be pretty closed off, it’s a barrier I put up to stop getting hurt. I worry and get a bit paranoid about what people think and say about me. I can be lazy and procrastinate a lot at home. But when organising something I can be a bit anal and want everything on my to do list ticked off. And lastly I’m too nice go people even when they’ve done something nasty to me. X |
