No, but as I said in your crucifixion thread I will be thinking of the symbolism of rebirth and the turning box the wheel.

To the person who thought they found evidence of relevant census ordered around the time of Jesus.

None of these matches the gospel account which required each to randomly return to theor place of birth. The whole idea was contrived to fulfill the old testament prophesy about the next king of the Jews as the messiah being born in King Davids city. The bible also contains a family lineage of Joseph linking him to king David. Something pretty odd given christians dont believe Joseph was the biological father of jesus. The census referred to all are well documented and had no impact on the uprooting of the entire empire as the bible suggests. They were local and there is no record of one at the time of jesus supposed birth. Quirrinius was not governor of syria when Herod ruled amd Augustus was on tje throne. The dates given by the gospel writers are wrong but even if this means jesus was born under the census you mention, there was no town of Nazareth in Galilee at that time either!!!

The massacre of the innocents was completely fabricated. No evidence for it exists outside of one gospel writers versiob of events. That myth was designed to parallel the massacre of israelite children by the Egyptians from the old testament.

I’m not thinking about any myths today.

Can’t even suspend disbelief to watch a James Bond film, never mind zombie Jesus, talking serpents, earth flooding and being repopulated by one family,....

Or would not like to think about torturing one’s son or burning people in hell for eternity or thinking slavery and taking virgins forcibly and killing firsts born boys is what a good god would do for me to worship him or his son:self after forcing a child into his own mother!!

No, why would I concern myself with one particular deity (or indeed one third of a deity) when there are something like 5000+ deities that mankind has believed in. What makes this one so special?

If the day is important to you I hope that it is good for you but it doesn't alter the fact that there is not one shred of evidence for any deity.

People shouldn't like to children about these things . Eggs are made in secret tunnels by hamsters. They are only HIDDEN by the bunny.

Jesus was supposed to be from the line of King David in order to fulfill the prophecy. Thomas Paine, in The Age of Reason, pointed out that, in two gospels, there were two separate geneologies from King David to Joseph with different numbers of generations in between the two and all with different names.

I'm thinking it's a nice day for a day off so I am thankful for that as without the myth of Jesus it would just be another day. Is there a Parallel universe where Jesus myth does not exist. What's it like I wonder ?
