It depends whom it is coming from, and whether it is sincere.
When it comes from someone I do not like, knowing full well it is said with the intention to massage my ego in order to smooth a rough patch between us out, without sincerity, then I would ignore, as it usually makes my skin crawl!
Someone did this to me recently, and I ignored it. I duly followed it up and requested for this person to review his/her ways of performing a task in order to prevent similar mistakes that he/she has made twice on the same day.  |

working for an agency i get it all the time 'oh we have a new contract and we need a proper driver, will you go in there for us?' translates 'we have asked everyone else and they said they wouldnt work for this company for all the money or blowjobs from the accounts woman we offer, so do it otherwise you wont get anymmore work off us' |

using the chat rooms regalarly i do see a lot of incencere flattery from chaps who will either shag anything with a pulse or just aren't looking at the same pic/profile/cam as i am. it is a little stomach churning to see it happening. That having been said i do compliment people, but only when I have spent the time to figure out what they want to be complimented about..... |

I look like crap today, got a real stinky cold, big red nose, cold sore on me lip, bleary eyes and not even showered or dressed just wearing an oversized fluffy dressing gown and booties to match... this beautiful Italian guy from this site (who I have refused to play with for months) turns up with 2 bottles of night nurse, gives me a big hug and tells me I still look gorgeous and leaves again.
I know I look like shit, but I thought it was really sweet of him, so yeah why not compliment if yer hearts in the right place he cheered me up |

most women are well aware that thee is a lack of sincerity in the flattery however some feel a little insecure and bathe in it. Others well speaking for myself I cringe and it puts me off. Honest flattery ok but I know when its just bs and its unappealing. |
