Do animals secretly hate humans?

Using the example of the

Slug and Worm.

Both are creatures of the ground, who are often noticed too late, (sometimes after midnight) and trodden on by you.

Both affect our environment:

The Slug by munching greenery, including your pride and joy or in some cases unsightly greenery.

The Worm by helping to create healthy soil for all types of your food and greenery.

Valuable and underappreciated creatures, you could even call them plodders.

Yet put a worm in with a dead man and it will rise up and carve that ass on up! Is this hatred manifested or harmless waste disposal?

Waste disposal I would say. Not sure animals would have the emotional ability to hate.

I think animals work on instinct, functioning on a primary level.

Unless it is a cat. Those fucking things hate everything.

I'm pretty certain the pug dog hates us ... Because look at the wolf, a primal beast then us humans come along and devolve them into little shit bags.

The closest thing I can think of is the film Slither. However, that was more of an alien slug than an earth slug.

Cats hate us. Ever noticed the way they just sit there and look at you. All deadpan. They are secretly planning to murder you.

Tripping you is their favour means of execution.

True story.

...I wouldn't blame them either as long as they stuck to victimless crime,no circus trampling.

Had to look up who they were and was expecting an obscure TV gardener, it was much more exciting than that a novelist and killer hybrid slugs.

They feign indignant protest when they get under your feet, like it was your idea. Then five minutes later they are sitting like the sphinx with those deadpan eyes and they're thinking "next time I'll get him on the stairs"....

When they eventually get it right they eat you.

Some animals simply love humans. For instance Sharks who LOVE legs, mosquitoes that give you a love bite that lasts days, snakes who the webbing on your thumb. Many animals love humans and consider them a delecacy. Apart from with cats, who are just plain sinister, its never personal.
