Went to sainsburys looking for popping candy could i hell find it so i asked a young staff member
He took me to the baking isle
I said i hate baking so he asked so why the need sir

I worked in a shop as a teen and if a customer spoke to me like that I'd have been upset and creeped out but also would have told all my co-workers about the pervy guy who thinks it's cool to talk to random strangers about his sex life.
From that point on he would have a nickname like sleazy Steve and we would talk about him and mock him behind his back whenever he came into the shop. |

Ugh. What a horrible thing to do. The person serving is just that - a person. They didn't deserve to be made to feel utterly uncomfortable in their workplace just so that you could have a laugh. They might be stressed at work now dreading you coming back in in case you're that inappropriate again. Grow up. |

I just don't get why you would embarrass a complete stranger for your own amusement. Far less someone who doing their (poorly paid) job by assisting you. Taking pleasure in another's discomfort makes you appear downright unpleasant, even if you believe it's all just a bit of a laugh. |

"Ugh. What a horrible thing to do. The person serving is just that - a person. They didn't deserve to be made to feel utterly uncomfortable in their workplace just so that you could have a laugh. They might be stressed at work now dreading you coming back in in case you're that inappropriate again. Grow up. "
used to work in a shop many years ago and had a few people try things like this with mainly the younger or female staff, we used to ban them from comming in again. had some of them complain to head office who just told them they had a duty of care to thier staff not to be bullied at work. With every think now days about inapprote behivour it must be the same still. |
