Last year at Cap d agde we attended an open air afternoon party based on a roman orgy. I remember the wine flowing, the sun beating down, and looking around at the guests all playing and thinking as long as i live i dont think i will top this !!

I love the idea of a Roman Orgy, its one of my favourite kinds of costume and the entire theme is very sensual...
I think the setting would have to be in a large room with pillars and surfaces aplenty whereupon cushions and throws would be scattered. For those who've been think Es Paradis in Ibiza without the more modern influences.
Personally I would wear a toga yes, but complete with breastplate and possibly even helmet as a centurion may have considered appropriate. I would craft a scabbard with its own weapon inside...a sword pommel that when extracted revealed a chunky rather evil looking prick substitute to be used to run through any slave girl who wished it. Should my own sword be otherwise engaged of course... 
Have lashings of oil, wine and food handy and let the festivities begin!
