This isn’t a want to come and see my puppy but I am struggling to name my new puppy she’s a golden Labrador so please can you suggest some names as at the moment I seem to be calling her a little shit |

I've recently got myself a blue staff puppy, and I called him loki, cause of the viking god, god of mischief, and he was a pain in my arse, cause I didn't know weather to get him or not and if my family would like him lol |

The question you have to ask yourself is what name will you be happy to be calling out to get her to return to you when you're walking her
Some names my fit perfectly, but calling it in public ... another matter |

What I did when I named my pooch was say a load of names, then the one she really seemed to respond to, with a head tilt, ear lift or whatever is what I went with. I let her chose her own so to speak.

Famous figures in history run through all our pets, bar our golden retriever which was named 'Simba' thanks to my sister and I.

All the pets I have had we have chosen there names based on there charcters. My cat was called shadow coz he follow you everywhere and my other cat was called tasked coz he was a little s**t my dogs called lady because she reminded me of the dog from lady and the tramp wen we first got her

I called our dog a shithead a few weeks ago, my eldest shouted "mum, it's pronounced sha-thee-d" ....That's his new nickname and I can use it in public! |

I watched something this morning about a training centre for guide dogs - and there was a puppy personality tester - best job ever!
