I was a bit of a climber and adventurer.
I have heard the sad news today that Vitaly Gorelik the russian mountaineer has died of a heart attack, aged just 47 whilst attempting a winter climb to the summit of K2. He had already conquered this peak in better weather conditions once before.
A sad loss to the climbng community R.I.P  |
