No, although he or his team cannot take that next thrown in as it is to the other team. This particular player cannot ever take a throw in regardless of any circumstance ...

For those of you vaguely interested in

Which is the only player on a football pitch that cannot take a throw in regardless of any circumstance is..... a player with only one arm. Law in football states that the ball must be propelled into play from a thrown in using both hands.

"Which is the only football team to have won the FA cup as a non league team?

Royal Engineers?"

Not as a non league side in the sense of when all teams became solely affiliated to the English F.A and were deemed league or non league teams.

Equally teams such as Wanderers, Corinthian Casuals and the University teams were not categorised as such.

However, in 1901 when these stipulations were in place, Tottenham Hotspur became the first and only team to win the FA cup as a non league team.

"Only 2 teams in England have 3 lions on their badge, the national team is 1 but who is the other?

I have some distant recollection of that mighty side that was / is Swindon Town

Durham county cricket club have 4 rampant I believe

Swindon are known as the Robins so I’m not sure that their badge featured Lions.

You’re right about the Durham cricket badge, although they are just rebranding for white ball cricket.

Why do I remember seeing a badge, blue... 3 golden / yellow lions ... STFC ... I assumed Swindon... must be some even smaller side

Thanks to the nugget that you’ve provided I can say that it’s Shrewsbury Town. It was the blue and yellow that reminded me."

It is a town but neither Swindon nor Shrewsbury.

Red lions on white, no roses.

My mother used to watch the Japanese dubbed shows in the 70's, and by default, so did I. The dog was called Inu, which is Japanese for dog. I had a confusing childhood

. Martin Clunes is my favourite actor as far as dogs are concerned , in Doc Martin his script says he has to shout at his dog , he makes them take the dog out of the room before he shouts at where the dog was , ( the viewers still thinking the dog is there ) , he didn't want to upset the dog by shouting at it for apparently no reason ,, got my respect for that !!!

"What is the highest possible break in a game of snooker

155 but requires a foul stroke I think. But the recorded official is 147 "

it does require a foul stroke but that is not included in the break. A free ball for 1 followed by a black followed by 147 does in deed make 155. By the way, the official highest possible break is not 147 it is 155

One I think. It was done to convey speed and power only three funnels where needed for luxury ships of the era.
