You are in a bit of a post meet buzz and you get a verification from the other party. It isn't glowing, but says nice enough things.
Fast forward a few weeks and months and you are ambling round the forums. You see someone post about veri's and you remember having met them.
They say they veri'd you under pressure but the sex was shit.
What would you do? |

I'd rather they just took it down if they felt that way. Unfortunately we seem unable to remove veris we've given. When it becomes apparent the person wasn't who the kind they claimed to be.

In all seriousness though, I'd imagine I'd have realised at the time that the meet wasn't too great so I'd probably have been shocked at the initial veri, I wouldn't shoulder all the blame myself for a disappointing meet and nor would I blame the other person, just gets chalked down to "not compatible" and it happens.

Well I'm assuming in those weeks or months that had passed we probably would've stopped talking and made no plans to meet again so by then I would have accepted that we just weren't compatible. |

Nah, you know if someone leaves you a bit of a piss poor veri? Not that I've had one obviously, but if they did, I wouldn't be displaying it. I don't see how there could be such dissonance between two people on the same social/meet; surely you pick up on general vibes etc. |

I don't understand the desperation of obtaining a veri at every single sniff of a meet like some kind of perverse trip advisor.

It takes two to tango so unless I'd been spectacularly lazy/unpleasant/unkind/pushy I'd refuse to accept responsibility for the 'shitty' sex. Nor would I pressure for a veri either.
Then I'd take a little bit of anonymous and vengeful pleasure at the probable verbal mauling they'd get in the forums when hopefully someone would admonish them for being so uncouth, indiscreet and pathetic to raise their complaint in public. Boo hoo ... so it wasn't as good as you'd hoped ... how is whingeing months later going to change anything? Most adults would chalk it up to experience and move on, not tell lies about verifiying someone and/or be spiteful at someone else's expense to get sympathy or attention.
But other than blocking I wouldn't 'do' anything - like try to contact them, or make some passive aggressive forum remark which could backfire. Let 'em hang themselves all on their own! |

It would say a whole lot more about the other person than me I think.
If they felt unable to be honest about it at the time or directly after, then that points to their inability to be honest or to take responsibility for their own feelings. For them to then play the victim later makes it even worse. |
