There really isn't any contest . The finest film of the 1980s was made om 1980 = Gregory's Girl.

They needn't have made any other films in the 80s at all.

I am glad there is someone out there who appreciates this cult classic

Most of my favourites have already been listed as there are so many great films from the 80’s

But Raiders of the Lost Ark is my top pick

They just don't make films like they did in the 80's anymore.

Some that might have been missed:

Conan the Destroyer

Conan the Barbarian

Red Sonia

Action Jackson

American Ninja

Hellraiser

FX Murder by Illusion

FlatLiners (was actually released in 1990 but was made during the end of the 80's)

All the 80's Jackie Chan films,Police Story, Amour of God, etc

No Retreat, No Surrender

Blood Sport

Kickboxer

Flight of the Navigator

Tron

The Last Starfighter

The Karate Kid

Gremlins

Weird Science

Poltergeist

The Last Emperor

Empire of the Sun

The Last Dragon
