I'm trying to download a free antivirus onto my Ipad, but the ipad is not on the 'devices' list on Google play, my phone and my ms8 android box are, how do I add my ipad to that device list so I can download onto it?

Did that make sense? Thanks

Google play is only for Android devices, Apple IOS software needs to come from the Apple App store.

The risks are actually very low on Android or Apple, Android gives you the option to 'root' the device which does increase the risk, but I suspect you have not done that.

Biggest risk is dodgy websites running Java script on your device. And never installing a virus at all. So you need anti malware not anti virus.

Hope that makes sense

Probably too many apps or need to clear cookies or Web history maybe .. there's probably an app built in for care of the pad.

I don't use pads much but the last time I did I noticed alot of maintenance style apps on it.

If it's running slowly, it could be down to an Apple update.

Apple have been severely criticised for sending out updates which deliberately slow older devices down in an attempt to encourage you to upgrade to a new one.

Make a complete backup and reset it to factory settings.

Then restore what you need.

It will clear out the leftover garbage that piled up.
