Famous people you have met

A few years ago I sat next to David Tennant (Dr Who) on a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow. He was a smashing guy and we chatted most of the flight.
Who is the most famous person you have met and have you photographic evidence? If so will you share it on your profile for a while? |

There and to the left a bit |
Various members of Madness
Pat Jennings (and most of the Spurs squad of 1976/7)
Dave Wakeling and the sadly recently departed Ranking Roger of The Beat
Norman Watt-Roy (The Blockheads)
Perry Fenwick (Billy off Eastenders)
Paul Putner (fat Paul from Fat Fighters on Little Britain)
Roger Moore
Plus a few others I have probably forgotten - have pics with some and most of them have been very approachable and easy to chat to. |

I think Anthony Hopkins is the most famous and myself and a few others had a brew with him as he shared a few stories!
He told us a good one in regards to Dustin Hoffman and Laurence Olivier.
But my favourite was Doug Scott a legend in the mountaineering world who climbed off the most difficult mountain in the world with both legs broken after being the first to summit it!!

Had a drink in a pub in Camden with Tom O'Dell, he is nice, I just listened to the conversation tbf. |

Apart from David Tennant I have met
Spagna (80’s diminutive Spanish pop sensation who sang Call Me) Billy Connolly who refused to record my voicemail message for me even though he thought it would have been hilarious. |

almost forgot, back to the OT...
Numerous rock stars, TV types, sports stars etc- even went on holiday with one....yet the best one is still almost unkown by name- Rusty Goffe. funny as fuck, very well spoken, really lovely bloke and highly entertaining.
As cool as it might have been to be Lemmy, Rusty is best known as the main Oompa Loompa from the original Charlie & the Chocolate Factory...I think that may take some beating |

"Lionel Blair
Fuck yes
I win
I have met Tony Blair and Linda blair
So one was satanically posessed, pure evil, bile spewing scarey looking fooker...the other was an actress? "
Lol that got me laughing out loud..but when I first wrote this and I did something thinking if had shot him..sure I would have spent sometime in jail but UK would be better for it.
Linda Blair was lovely.
In fact Tony Blair at the time seemed to be the good guy and this was before labour won they came to derby and I was at the front and we shaked hands.
It was just after the war in Iraq when he fell from grace and I got his autograph for £5. Paid more for a unknown porn star |

I've met a few people over the years but only 1 was on my bucket list. Adam Ant. Loved him since I was 11. I've met him twice now. I have his face tattooed on me, which he signed and I also got tattooed on. If you want to see (meeting and/or tattoo) just ask I'll message you with it. |

Pierce Brosnan - bumped in to him by accident whilst walking along the road, he was leaving a premier via the back door and waiting on the car. Had about a 5 min chat with him
Ed Byrne - walked in to me whilst walking down the royal Mile, apologised to me.
Noel Gallagher and his then wife Meg Mathews in USC Waverley Mall. |

Insert "team bath" innuendo here...."

I worked front of house for a big hotel chain and have had cake from Gordon Ramsey, a rendition of a Vera Lynn classic from John Lydon, drinks with Kings of Leon and asking Gary Bahhlowww to spell his name. I also evicted Prince Naseem from a suite. God I was a cow bag. That’s nothing compared to the embarrassment that fell upon me when belting out a rendition of blooming G4’s Hit me baby one more tiiiiimmmmmeeee to find them all stood there giggling.
I miss that bloody job. |

Weirdest was when I was on a course in Altrincham. One night I took a Danish guy into a 'real' English pub. Real dump it looked. Pretty busy inside. Opposite in the other bar, framed by an arch through the dividing wall was Kevin Webster of Coronation Street fame. But he looked at us like he was sporting for a fight!
On another occasion we had lunch in another pub and Sid Little walked in. Beat that!
Oh, and our fitness clubs xmas bash was once gate crashed by Jim Bowen! |

Robbie Williams asked me out for a drink
Ok the whole truth is, I worked in a Supermarket near Stoke and one of his best mates from School also worked with me. We chatted about Football and he and Dave were going out for a drink and asked if I wanted to join them. I said no, as I was meeting my Girlfriend this was just after he left Take That, so not as famous then. |
