Anyone can fab any fabbable photo.
Which, given the number of men on here.. makes the hotlist very man-centric.
In an ideal world, men and women should be very similair in their views and attractions. Only we know some are from Mars and others from Venus.
Do you not think this man-centric view distorts many users views on what is considered attractive on Fab.
One look at the hot men section, says it all. Mainly computer distorted images of monstrous members. Bar the odd Forum boosted image.
I'd like to see new hot pics catergories. Fabbed by (insert gender/age/etc) I'm sure it'd give different results. I'd also like a Forum only hot pics section.
Bizarrely, I rarely even think about hot pics, but have a bee in my bonnet about it today. |

I’m guilty of helping a male fabber get onto Page 1 but I liked the pic so would have probably fabbed it at some point anyway.
Other than that, I very rarely look at the hot-pics pages.
I like what I like and If I like it then I’ll fab it.

It's an interesting point that you make, I doubt that any changes will occur though.
My most fabbed pic is my avatar, but the one that garnered the most female interest (exclusively so at the time) was my suit pic. Whether that says something about variations in taste or whether ladies just want me to put it away is a different matter though |

I'm not asking or expecting change, just pondering. As you say .. my own fabbed pics from females, differ remarkably from the kinds of photos in the hot pics section. My winky isn't what seems to grab women's attention.

I NEVER look at fabbed pics. The only time i've seen them is when someone in the forum begs for a fab so I do it for the hell of it.

Personally if I were to make any changes at all, I think I'd take away the Hot Pics section altogether - not sure it serves a great deal of positive purpose and encourages the worst in some.
Yeah it may give an ego boost, but surely that same ego boost can be found by seeing your own pics being fabbed without them needing to appear in a top 10. |

I don’t think being on hot pics equals attractiveness in the general sense, of course there are exceptions.
On a site based on sex / meeting up / validation / popularity etc etc....that tends to be the deciding factor as for whether a photo makes the top spot or not.
If you take a snap shot of the top 10 at any given time there will generally be no correlation between the photos up there. |

I only Fab photos I really like... Be they men's, women's or couple's photos. There are only maybe a handful of men I've stumbled across who's photos I find fab-worthy though. Even on couple's profiles you often see a vast difference between the standard of photos posted by the male and the female. The simple fact is that most (but not all... definitely not all) guys just don't make any effort with their photos... They either take a ch*ked chicken shot whenever they have an erection, or their idea of making an effort is to take a torso selfie in a grimy bathroom mirror. Those that do make a real effort... Well... I could look at their pics all day long  |

I sort of agree with you and I never had looked until a friend messaged to say one of my pics was on page 8 ... well blow me down it got to number 4 with over 4700 likes in 24 hours! My profile that day had over 8000 views and, considering I've never wanted or needed an ego boost, I thoroughly enjoyed it! especially as my profile is hidden 95% of the time and I was fully clothed in the pic!
(I have since taken off the ability for anyone to fab my pics as I think it's totally unecessary!) |

I agree, but like I said to Gman, the option exists and people use it for all sorts of reasons.
Unlike you, I'm a tad needy (though a lot less than I suspect many think I am) and love an ego stroke (probably more so than I admit). Being on the hotlist as it stands wouldn't really do anything for me though I don't think.
If voted by the Forum, then yeah, maybe it would. Rest of Fab doesntbhave the slightest inkling of what I'm about. Having my Willy fabbed into oblivion by a bunch of randoms wouldn't tickle my todger. |

Oh I totally "get" the sense of achievement it must bring when it happens totally unexpectedly but there are *some* for whom it appears to be almost their "raison d'etre" and whose sole ambition is to appear there - that it almost makes Hot Pics worthless because let's face it, it *is* usually inhabited by the same people most of the time.
Now if that's what floats their boat then so be it and good luck to them but at the same time I do have to laugh at the lengths *some* will go to to make an appearance - to give a recent example - when they announced the 2018 most fabbed list I took a look through out of interest, 24 hours later I looked again and there were several pics that had not been in it before - scratched my head for a while till I realised that people had been moving pics out of Friends Only and Private just so their pics appeared 
It's things like that and the Fab begging statuses etc that make it a meaningless list IMHO |

It IS meaningless. Whether it were done in a way I've suggested, or as is. You're 100% right in that. Fab begging statuses are very offputting, I'll agree with you on that as well.
I'm guilty of moving my photos around. Though I'd put it down to mood more than anything else. Right now in feeling quite exhibitionist and "On a plate". Enjoying the Fabs from "Fab my pics thread". Whereas usually I'm more subdued and have no more than 10 pics on display at most.
A suprise trip up the list must be an exhilarating experience, as it's one you've not asked for and therefore means more as it's given freely.
There are loads of unessercary options and tools on Fab to use. For me.. the more customisation I can have to tailor things the way I like it.. is a good thing. There are hundreds of options I'd add, but I also love it the way it is. |

Hot photos serves a vital purpose for me - and none of that is about validation!
Firstly - as the search engines are rubbish on here (we can’t search by body type etc) - it’s where I ‘hunt’ for guys I might find attractive/like to meet!
Guys obviously use it for the same purpose as I get loads more messages when I’m on hot photos - as do most people on there!
As I’m here to actually meet people regularly and have sex - that’s invaluable and I’ve met quite a few gorgeous guys because one or both of us were on hot photos at a given time!
Secondly - it means most people on Fab know who I am and recognise me in a swinging setting - so I can go on road trips all over the country (which I love doing) and people will recognise me and come to chat to me - which I absolutely love as I’m a friendly fucker - and occasionally I’ll end up playing with one of them!
I’m aware hot photos isn’t, perhaps, intended for the purposes I use it for - but it’s a very useful marketing tool for me! Pleeeeeeese don’t take it away! |

That's fair enough. I question whether the men on the top men I've are actually that attractive though. Given it's mainly abnormal Cocks on display. Nothing there that catches my eye. In an ideal world, men and women should be very similair in their views and attractions. Only we know some are from Mars and others from Venus.
Do you not think this man-centric view distorts many users views on what is considered attractive on Fab.
One look at the hot men section, says it all. Mainly computer distorted images of monstrous members. Bar the odd Forum boosted image.
I'd like to see new hot pics catergories. Fabbed by (insert gender/age/etc) I'm sure it'd give different results. I'd also like a Forum only hot pics section.
Bizarrely, I rarely even think about hot pics, but have a bee in my bonnet about it today.

"Personally if I were to make any changes at all, I think I'd take away the Hot Pics section altogether - not sure it serves a great deal of positive purpose and encourages the worst in some.
Yeah it may give an ego boost, but surely that same ego boost can be found by seeing your own pics being fabbed without them needing to appear in a top 10.
Hot photos serves a vital purpose for me - and none of that is about validation!
Firstly - as the search engines are rubbish on here (we can’t search by body type etc) - it’s where I ‘hunt’ for guys I might find attractive/like to meet!
Guys obviously use it for the same purpose as I get loads more messages when I’m on hot photos - as do most people on there!
As I’m here to actually meet people regularly and have sex - that’s invaluable and I’ve met quite a few gorgeous guys because one or both of us were on hot photos at a given time!
Secondly - it means most people on Fab know who I am and recognise me in a swinging setting - so I can go on road trips all over the country (which I love doing) and people will recognise me and come to chat to me - which I absolutely love as I’m a friendly fucker - and occasionally I’ll end up playing with one of them!
I’m aware hot photos isn’t, perhaps, intended for the purposes I use it for - but it’s a very useful marketing tool for me! Pleeeeeeese don’t take it away!

Not to be noticed, perhaps, but it’s a useful conversation starter! People aren’t afraid of approaching me because they have a reason to do so - if that makes sense? If they’ve read my profile rather than just wanked over the pics then they’ll know I’m friendly and approachable - ie someone who’s unlikely to be rude or blank them! I don’t think it’s easy for many people to approach others at clubs and parties- as I think we all have at least a little fear of knock backs! Xxx |
