"Got a few tatts myself was wondering what's everyone's thoughts on females or males with ink? "
I here some people have them, but this is yet to be confirmed. |

I love mine, others may not. Its not their body so it doesn't matter.
Taste is subjective, the person that got the 'tacky' one's probably had a good reason for it. I'm not one to judge them, I've got a large Lord of the Rings tattoo which others will likely find tacky. |

I like tattoos on both guys and girls , there so popular not it’s hard to see non tattooed people , if the designs are good they look great , not keen on neck or face ink or badly done home made ones |

"I get what your saying I respect them with meaning but hate the tacky ones "
How on earth do you know if a tattoo has meaning? Liking another person's ink is by natute superficial and based on nothing more than whether you like it or not. |

This seems to be a recurring thread. Everyone has opinions on them. Tattoos have been around since Chinese dynasty.... they're not new .... they swing in and out of fashion. Some love some loathe..... |

I love tattoos on both men and women. I have a number of tattoos and majority are very colourful with only one black and grey piece. My next sitting is booked in for May.
I been to a couple of tattoo conventions and they are a good day out and a good perving opportunity too. |

As everyone has already said, it's incredibly subjective. I used to think along the lines of liking tattoos "as long as they're not tacky", but as I've grown old and listless I'm thinking more and more who am I to decide what's tacky and what isn't? To me it seems tantamount to, as a man, arbitrarily deciding what women should and shouldn't wear. "She shouldn't wear that, she's too fat and it looks slutty." It's snobbish, elitist, judgemental and insulting.
On the whole, I like tattoos. I have tattoos, some of which are shit, some of which are (in my opinion) good. I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like, much as one might feel about more traditional artforms. I've been around BMAG in Birmingham and found some really interesting and thought provoking art, and I've also been around the Ikon Gallery and thought "what the fuck is this shit supposed to be?" My opinion doesn't diminish or invalidate the significance or impact of that piece, I simply don't like it.
That being said, I'm comfortable asserting that if you're covered in, say, swastikas and white power tattoos, you can fuck right off. |

I like mine, don't care about others. I either like the person or I don't. Although I find some seem to think that because they are tattooed means I will like them more or am more likely to... It doesn't |

I wonder if this might be what the OP was skirting around? I've seen quite a lot of profiles stating that 'muscles and tattoos go to the front of the queue' or whatnot, and I'd imagine there's a certain contingent of fab males that regard this as some sort of free pass. As such, it's likely that a lot of them get the hump if their advances are rebuffed. |

We like them & we both have them, I think as long as they are good quality they completely fine. We have seen some & thought good god but it’s up to the individuals. Not everyone will like one of mine, especially one half of Sheffield. lol ?? |

On others? Yes I like to see ink, nicely done ink, great artwork.
Cheap tacky scratch work, no, and tbh, that would put me off someone.
But whether someone has ink or not wouldn't affect my attraction to them, but it does give us something to talk about while I'm letting them getting their breath back for round 2 |

I don't think that's reserved for people trying to get your pants off, I get blokes deciding out of nowhere to try and show me their tattoos or quiz me in depth about mine like it's not an incredibly weird thing to do. |

"Love tattoos on both men and women. I think you just look a bit plain and boring if you have generic blonde hair, no tattoos, no piercings. It says "I take myself too seriously" "
I'm totally going to be the sad bastard hitting on you in the forum; I love the work you have. The piece across your shoulders and chest is really eye catching! |

I rarely comment here either, everyone argues too much. Seems very friendly in here today though! You can hold my hand for support |

Love mine, no preference for other people. Recently turned down because I was too heavily tattooed, which is fine, and their prerogative. They were so lovely and polite about it. That’s what matters, you can dislike something, but there’s no need to be rude or judgemental x

This all day long ! Hubby has a few but I have a lot including a full sleeve ..if it’s not for you, no problem. Personally, we wouldn’t turn down people because they didn’t have ink, but we realise it isn’t for everyone |

Don't like them, not got any myself but I must admit when they're are done with real imagination and artistry they can look amazing. I saw 'Girl with a Dragon Tattoo' loved hers
However got to agree with others on here it's a preference some people love them some don't. I generally love intelligence in a person so that can certainly trump a few tattoos for a meet. |

I have them, I love them, all of them. I like how they look on other people too.
One big difference I have learnt over time between people who have tattoos and those who dont have them is those that do have them dont judge whether others have them or not.

We noticed this ...in the past few weeks there’s been a few threads started about the subject. You never hear (or at least we haven’t) inked people “complaining” for want of a better word, about “none inked” people. It almost without exception is the other way round. Again, their choice, and we’d never knock people for have a preference. Merely pointing out an observation |

Really? There's a post on this thread saying people without tattoos are generic and plain and take themselves too seriously. |

I think tattoos can look extremely sexy.
I love admiring an inked body.
I watched an interesting programme about 2 guys and a woman who were heavily tattooed. They put them out on the street and they were asking people for change of a £10 note. They then covered up their tattoos and sent them out again. The difference in peoples attitudes was interesting to watch. Like most things in society, there is a stigma attached to people with tattoos.

Such a trend setter."
All the kids will have that on their hands next week. |
