In fairness its pretty obvious that on a site where people are looking for sex some people will cut to the chase. I don't think that's weird. It just shows a lack of understanding of how to communicate. On any day of the week there will be forum threads from men genuinely confused that they get nowhere and those sort of messages are why. Use your filters or simply block single men of thoae messages pkss you off that much |

I think this is fair, some men really are genuinely confused by it all. All the sex pics and veris etc but they mention sex and people growl at them. They see cock pics and think they have to have their cock on show to get a meet.

Unless you are lucky enough to be born 10 out of 10 for every person that views you. Chances are then you will be messaged by them anyway.

Whenever I message anyone, I never ever discuss sex.
Whenever I message anyone, I check if their profile gives me any insight into the person and if they are likely to be on my wavelength.
If possible, I see how they interact in the forums and if they are light hearted, don't take fab too seriously and are capable of a good old natter.
A lot of chaps do the same.

I gave up sending first message since rejoining. It's worked quite well. And I've had a few one or two word messages so it's not just men. Ladies can be hard of messaging too and non engaging. |

I like it when they're direct like that as it means that I know straight away we're not compatible so no need to waste time chatting. See it as a positive.
You could try saying that on your profile - "If men are approaching me on this I would like a face picture attached and a nice first message eg. Hey how are you guys came across you’re profile very interesting etc" as a hint for how you'd like them to behave. It will show who reads your profile. |

Do people actually criticise the messages you send though rather than just ignore or delete?. I find that weird. Take it that most women will probably message the ones they want to meet anyway so just take a back seat instead. It might make for a lonely inbox existence on here but thats what forums are for

This may not be in your case, but I have had very short messages of no more than 5 words, saying hey how are you both?? I can't help replying to that as any fool can see there's only one of me, and who the hell copy and pasted such a short message . I like to reply so I can see them try and wriggle their way out of it |
