Holiday with your parents

When you were younger and went on holiday with your parents in a car and it is long drive, what would they say to you when you asked them are we there yet? My dad use to say over the next hill when we got to the top of the hill there was a other one a while later asked again he would over the next hill once we got to the top of that hill we could see the ocean ahead where the drive lasted 3 hours but we got there in the end.

Haha, yes we had something similar, we would have a competition to see who could see the sea first, I was normally asleep by then!

I don't we ever asked that question. We used to play a game looking for funny place names along the way. The journey was often the good bit.

We used to spot car registrations (the days before the date codes) starting at one etc.

Also ... play car snooker .. ref car colour... Red car .. colour ... highest breaks

We all got shoved in a transit van from the home, they played lose a kid a stop.....

...I can walk for miles now thanks to that home.... sigh
