Are you a good conversationalist?

Yup. I have a lot of interests and am a bit of a nerd about them, so have lots of interesting info nuggets about random stuff to share. And I do enjoy cracking dad jokes and general banter about life. |

"No. I make others feel uncomfortable with my social awkwardness "
I absolutely hate awkward silence ,I'm always trying to think about something to talk about.
But at club's or parries I always feel uncomfortable talking about non sex/ swinging related subjects. |

I'm more of a listener and question asker, unless it's random crap like what will you do in a Zombie Apocalypse.
I don't know enough about anything in depth and I'm not particularly into any causes, to have a debate.
I'm a bit of an air head now I come to think about it. |

I know a little about a lot so I can definitely hold a conversation ~ whether it’s interesting or not can usually be gauged by reactions, if I feel it’s the latter I’ll try and steer the conversation around to engage them more |

I think that's where conversation comes in, not just one person speaking in depth about a certain subject for ages, more about letting other people having their own views without overtalking them |

Conversation is a two way street.
I can monologue for hours, or I can be monosyllabic. Like good sex, good conversation requires both people to participate. |

"On here no, I get distracted and forget to reply and my manner sometimes offends people.
In real life I'm a bit better, maybe, possibly not actually "
always wanted to pull out the violin. And there it is because thought I better do it first
TM can! Actually there are a few in this thread that can have good decent conversations about different topics |

Im more of a listener, but will respond and ask lots of questions if Im interested in the chat. I'm not much for thinking up things to talk about, although saying that I probably am but they wouldn't be all that interesting |

"All depends who I'm with ....need good conversation to give good conversation......"
Exactly.
Most of the people I'm surrounded by in my daily life want to talk about Reality TV and their kids.
I politely nod and listen but I can't join in because I can't relate.
I feel as if I'm going brain dead - and lack motivation to do Anything about it.
