When did you last touch someone (not in that way) or be touched by the generosity of spirit of another?

My kids have surprised me with a short break to Rome. I'm off Friday and I'm buzzing. I'd have been surprised if they'd washed up after dinner so Rome well blow me down with a feather.

leeds

Out in town a bit ago with my daughters and we went into Sainsbury's to pick a few bits up, my eldest (she's 10) asked if she could get a 2 pack of jam donuts, thinking she wanted them for herself and her sister I said yes. When we got outside she was carrying them and she wondered over to a homeless man and passed him the donuts and said 'I hope you like them'

Hefty Hideaway

Ah that’s lovely!

I’m thankful that my 12 year old just made dinner because I’m feeling crook. It was absolutely delicious even though she used every pot and got meatball sauce absolutely everywhere!

I’m also lucky because my best friend asked me to be a witness at his wedding. That gesture touched me to my very soul!

Hope you feel better soon. It's great to share special moments with those we care about

My ex girlfriend used to love my writings. She had a shitty week one time so I compiled all my poems together, had them printed into a hardback book and got one single copy made complete with dedication to her. Sent it to her in her work. She was made up. Shes got the only hard copy of all my poems. It's the only time I'll compile them together so its unique, like our time was together x

That was quite a gesture.

Hiding in the shadows

This afternoon, my eldest son.

Bit of an emotional week for our family, couple of very significant dates, today & Sunday, he knew I was feeling ill again, so he's collected his younger brothers, taken them to his house, cooked them dinner and having a lads night.

I'm proud of the caring considerate, amazing young man he's grown into.

He sounds like a great kid with heart and that's so important.
