Are you a good judge of character?

I think I am but can sometimes be a bit gullible, luckily D usually picks up on things I don’t, I like to take people as I find them and expect people to do the same with me ! Can you tell if you like people straight away or do you reserve judgement until you know them a bit better?

I start from a position of aware trust until I find otherwise. There are some I avoid before I’ve spoken to them though due to behaviour I’ve observed.

I like to think so but most people think they are when they are not I guess thats why so many people are scammed.

There and to the left a bit

There are some people I warm to immediately and have an instinctive feeling about that we'll get on - others it might take me a while to completely get to know and warm to them, although I am pretty much an open book to anyone myself and have an "I am what I am, take me or leave me" approach in that respect.

I’m the same when it comes to myself, if people don’t like me as I am then that’s there problem, that’s not to say I don’t like to make a good first impression but certainly wouldn’t put on any ‘fronts’ to make people like me x

Yes. I didn't used to be, I was brought up to see the best in people but I've since learned to listen to my gut feeling, it rarely steers me wrong.

I make snap judgements, as most people do I would imagine. I am however happy to be proved wrong, and will give people another chance to make an impression. I know myself I can quite awkward the first time meeting, so have it in mind that others might be.

Actually the flip side of my opening statement is there are people I can take an immediate dislike to too - which can happen just as easily as taking a liking to them - whichever way it goes, I'm rarely wrong, although have had my mind changed on occasion.

I am in real life, but i've got it completely wrong with a few people on here...I guess that's what happens when I listen to my genitals instead of my gut

Absolutely, the eyes and body language can tell you an awful lot

Yep this. Your instinct is always right. Why the hell did I do that I ask myself alot. Actions speak louder than words.

It's always a bit hit and miss. I have a relatively good gut instinct and I like to keep an open mind, but I'm pretty unforgiving and go for 'one strike you're out' unless it's a blurred line then I tentatively turn a blind eye.... til the next time... then YOU'RE OUT!

I don't think you can judge character immediately. Of course we all form a first impression and often that sticks.

People sometimes change their mind about both of us once they know us better, on first impression we're quite difficult to guage.

I am an excellent judge of whether I want to be around someone or not and no one else's opinions matter.

Having just completed my annual diversity, equality and incusivity training I will say yes.

Everybody gets the same baseline if being a dick. Unless proven otherwise.

After a lifetime of being made to ignore my gut feelings probably not. I'm playing catch up with everyone else.

I had 33 years in a job where the biggest asset was assessing people for their true character. I’m a frigging expert
