Up to you. I asked the nurse at the clinic if they did throat swabs and she said they didn't as a rule and they would be just for men who have sex with men.

For you to decide if you can accept the risk - all I would say is that for some STIs the risk of contracting through oral is minimal, and the risk of contracting through receiving oral is even less but that still doesn't mean you can't contract.
That said if you get regularly tested you mitigate that risk even further.
Do you use an oral dam when you give oral is another question to ask yourself? If not, then why expect a condom to receive? |

You should do what you feel is right.
However choosing to wear one for oral will very much limit your choice of playmates. It's not at all nice giving a bj with a condom, even if they are flavoured, and similarly its not great using a dam on a woman.
The risk of an std is much less from a bj, and very easy treated.
I always have throat swabs done and am honest about my lifestyle at the clinic. I have never had an oral std yet, and ive had a hell of a lot of oral sex. |

Since the incident some eight years ago in a club that I mentioned just now , I go by the rule that if a lady insists I wear one I politely decline . I truly would prefer a wank to having a bj with a condom on . |

Your body, your choice.
However I'd have thought you'd severely limit your chance of any kind of play as I wouldn't give a blowjob with a condom on. I hate the taste and feel of them in my mouth and can't imagine many ladies enjoy the taste or feel of slimy latex. |
