Perfect Sunday

What would be your idea of a perfect Sunday in your ideal world?

Mine would be pootling about between the kitchen and the garden, feeding the animals and digging up veggies ready for a big sunday dinner with lots of friends invited to spend the day with us.

I'm a very social creature apparently

Wake up early, cup of tea whilst feeding the koi.

A fairly wary tee off time, obviously winning the round of golf amongst my group of friends.

A stop off for lunch on the way home and maybe an afternoon drive in an old Volkswagen Beetle

Halifax

Sounds lovely. Copious amounts of coffee catching up with the news and Match of the Day. A lovely Sunday lunch followed by a few pints of ale in the local sat near the log fire.

Then back home for a nap. Have a nice bath then watch a film with some nibbles.

Not happening today apart from the coffee and the ale as Miss is working.

.

Oh that sounds idyllic Op.

My ideal Sunday would involve waking up in a lovely country house with the family, my mother and siblings, breakfast would be on a farmhouse table groaning with all sorts of wonderful food freshly prepared. A leisurely jaunt with the pup through the fields and come back to read and laugh and catch up and drink a decent bottle. Huge roast and then we'd play Ex Libris and Monopoly and no one would fall out.

by the seaside

Waking up to coffee and bacon on a sunny day. Get up, shower and walk the dog on the beach. Picnic in the woods with friends, good food and drink and sitting around a camp fire till sunset shooting the breeze.

Winter walk followed by a pub for Sunday lunch around 3 so it's dark when finished.

Summer, a day at the coast exploring and picnic wait until the sunset before going home.

Breakfast with the guys, then they can disappear and I'll be left to enjoy a Marvel movie marathon and some peace and quiet for a change! This place is like Grand Central station sometimes and whilst I truly love it need the quiet occasionally

So today’s been pretty good. I’m up at 6 or so every day so today’s been pretty perfect.

GF stayed last night, woke at 8 this morning, cup of tea, dozed back off for a bit, some bedroom gymnastics, followed by a snooze then breakfast in bed, followed by more bedroom gymnastics and another snooze and another cup of tea. 1pm now, just about to drag myself out and sort my life....but might have another cup of tea to help with that

Early get up, brew and get ready for a long walk in the country side. Stop off at a few country pubs having several beers. Get home finish off with a whiskey and maybe a nice takeaway
