Android wins hands down. My sister was a iOS user since the iPhone 3 all the way to the 7 then she switched to the Google pixel 2 on a whim and she has no idea why she stayed with iPhone for so long |

It partly depends on the degree to which you are happy being locked inside an ecosystem. Apple fully restrict theirs, whereas android is less restricted, allowing more freedom. Apple tech is also much more expensive - equivalent android phones are much cheaper. It's a pity that Windows Phones got suspended as they have great OS quality but they will likely return with a new product form, if possible.
Android spans ultra low cost to high end premium, so you can try out the system for low cost, before taking your decision to jump ship |
