I've lived in this road most of my life and never heard a tweet like it.

It goes tweettweettweettweettweettweettweet...tweeeeet. tweet.

In London and not interrupted by the sound of a police siren or two?

"You should present nature programs "

I would, but I would be going "Listen to that lovely birdsong-no idea what bird it is, but ain't it lovely"

I can now hear a wood pigeon. The other bird has buggered off.

Ah, now that is the lesser spotted great crested pigeon, it’s famous for its infamous call that mentions tweet a lot.

Why are nature program presenters always posh anyway?

You remind me of the little girl that went on TV and wanted to replace Big Ben's chime

Didn't sound meaty enough to be a pigeon.

It would make a nice alternative to the bongs.

Seen in far off places

I can faintly hear gentle mutterings about Louboutin shoes, the Hermès Birkin, and Breakfast at Tiffanys...

Only posh birds where I am

Cos the BBC are paying them a fortune so they all come out the woodwork!

It is nice to hear the blackbirds tweeting away first thing in a morning (which is possibly what you heard btw) x

No it's not a blackbirds. I've had one of those around for years. It's call was deeper and it went down the scale, as opposed to up and down it, like the black bird.

I might Google it.

There’s some wood pigeons practicing their Riverdance routine on top of my conservatory roof, sounds like they are wearing hob nail boots.

I've got one near my house that sounds like a squeaky laser jet printer. I'll shoot the bugger one day, it's annoying as fuck.

I could create a new look. I won't be able to walk in them though, so it would be a "For the bedroom" look.

I'm on the outskirts of London, where the pollution is slightly lower.

Is it nesting in there? You need a big bush like I have to give them a safe haven.
