That there is a blood type that only a handful people in the world have. So rare there are currently only 8 active donors, with 43 people IDed between 1961-2010.
Rh-null otherwise called as the golden blood, lacks all positive and negative antigens making it incompatible with every other blood type, just like O-.
What have you learned today/recently

"If you're rh negative they inject you with anti-D (the d antigen) after a pregnancy, abortion (spontaneous or otherwise), or after any bleed during pregnancy.
I didn't learn that today. Idc."
That applies to me |

"Mongolians built the world's first composite bows made of hide and bone, making them as effective as long bows but only half the size. Thus usable on horseback"
MORE powerful, MORE accurate. Mongol composite bow makes the Welsh Longbow look like a kids toy by comparison.

Didn't learn this today but I do like to wind people up with it....
If you put your left shoulder and left foot (or right shoulder and foot) against a wall you can't lift the aposing foot off the floor without loosing your balance |

Indeed. Funnily enough I learnt it on a Grand Tour episode even though the book I'm reading right now is about Genghis Khan! You might've already read it |

Not if it's the one Autumn76 still hasn't given me yet.
Only books on Ghengis I've read are Conn Igulden Series and two written by contemporary historians. Though I've forgotten who and what they were called.
Would love an English translation of "Secret History of the Mongols". |

What???
Lies! It's all lies!
He's got a boys voice! He's called pooh!
All pooh is masculine is it?? Bloody sexism "
I was as shocked as well
"The bear which inspired Winnie the Pooh is actually a girl. He is referred to as "he" in AA Milne's books and in the Disney cartoons his voice has always been provided by a man. But, it turns out that the bear he is named after, was actually a female black bear named Winnie" |

Yes
But Winnie the Pooh is still a boy. He was inspired by a girl. My friend is named Alexandra, after her dad - Alexander. Doesn’t make her a man |

Ah the females of the species are I'm sure completely innocent of any wrong doing.
The males however..Well they do seem to want to lead a sweet innocent gal astray down a very dark and twisted path
