I have really enjoyed being in the forums. There are people I admire, those I'd like to know better. Them that have made me mad and then there's all the giggles in between. I think I would probably have left Fab if I haven't found them. Long live the forums x |

Just this... I find the forums to be a nice way to actually speak to people or start off and I’ve spoken to some really lovely people from here, I wouldn’t say I’ve had many bad experiences other than what I cause myself by not speaking more or getting involved which I kick myself for |

I’d have been long gone if it wasn’t for the forums.
Saying that I do feel that “my time” was a while back and they’re not quite the same to me as once was.

This is exactly the conversation I was having with someone yesterday.
Font know if it's me getting older, the people on here changing or just the whole world changing - but as much as I still enjoy coming in here I just think the spark of 5-10 years ago has gone.
Seems the fun/banter/mickey taking i used to enjoy do much is now frowned upon by many in here.

I've often said if it wasn't for the forums I'd probably have gone UNLOS by now - they have peaks and troughs like any other internet forums, some days they infuriate me, others they make me laugh and make me think.
Without them I wouldn't have met some of the people I have, some of whom I consider just as good a friend as my offline ones, and I very much doubt I'd have had many, if any, meets.

Well I've been in the forums much more of late mainly because I'm off meets for a while. I'm trying to buy a house in Erdington and mentally I'm not in a good place right now.
If it wasn't for the forums I wouldn't be able to find out other people veiws on such important topics like "have wagon wheels gotten smaller", "lamp post pising" and "would you bone Jannet Krankie?". |

"Well I've been in the forums much more of late mainly because I'm off meets for a while. I'm trying to buy a house in Erdington and mentally I'm not in a good place right now.
If it wasn't for the forums I wouldn't be able to find out other people veiws on such important topics like "have wagon wheels gotten smaller", "lamp post pising" and "would you bone Jannet Krankie?".

I love the forums! Lots of great people on this site. Lots of different people which makes the forums so interesting. They are addictive mind. That's why when I got banned it was sort of a refief too as I got other things done. |

The forums have helped me over the years....some great and not so great people on here...as in the real world. But its the one place you can ask anything

The main reason I still use fab is for the forums.
I've been lucky and gotten to know some great people over the years as a result.
(I even had some pretty epic sex once or twice because of them too.)
There are many things that make me roll my eyes but more that make me laugh.
Of course there have been a few run ins over the years,from abusive messages, trolls and even a thread completely attacking me once.
I've also seen great support and care for others. It's often a safe space for people and I love that too.
So I'll keep popping in and out I'm thankful for the positive interactions and the humour.
