Mon-Thurs I go; zero alcohol, carbonated drinks and junk food. I have one coffee a day and tea in the evening, otherwise it's water only. I've been doing this for 3 weeks.
Friday's for free, I eat and drink what I want.
I missed my daily injection of caffeine and vodka or gin for about 4 days, struggling with headaches in the process but since then it's been a breeze.
Of course I've become a self-righteous prick like all the others and I haven't really seen any benefit other that I'm possibly more focused at work but hey-ho, it's given me something to start a thread about.

Work hard Monday to Friday (55-60hrs) big weekend I just chill ,
Not had booze this year,used to drink 25-30 pints over Friday afternoon and Sunday , now it’s water and teas , thought it might be why I’m a chubby lad , but it’s made no difference, after a week of 3am get ups it’s nice to sleep in with the wife for a bit longer lol |
