For me it has to be

1. Jimmy Carr, seen him live 3 times now totally hilarious.

2. Tim Vine, love his one liners.

3. Paul Whitehouse, miss the awesome sketch comedy of the Fast Show.

Apart from being a bit villa, I quite like Greg. I think he's one of the underrated comedians of our time.

I love his way of telling a story. So detailed, pulls you right in, before hitting you right in the funny bone.

Not to mention his facial reactions.

There's definitely a whole bunch of less interesting comedians feeding off the panel show gravy train.

Dave Allen...............absolute genius on TV and his live shows were just magic.

Bob Monkhouse.........much maligned for his cheesy TV shows, but i've seen him many times up until he died doing his act in nightclubs. Live in a club, he just shone above even all the alternative comics we had in the 80's and 90's

Ken Dodd...............what can you say

the last time i saw him live "laugh as much as you like Mrs, i'm the only one here that knows what time your getting out"

Rik Mayall, Jimmy Carr and Jack Dee were very good live. Rik was a gentleman offstage when I met him. Much loved and missed.
