"Can't remember: it was either Carrie or the Exorcist. "
You were a brave woman, I remember my brother coming home from a night out early because he had to leave the cinema early as his date was to upset watching it |

The first one I remember watching at the cinema was Harry and The Hendersons. We were 5 and had been taken along as my mum was having a baby at home - obviously wanted us well out of the way. I probably saw something before that but I can’t remember it. |

The Exorcist traumatised me, and I don't scare easily. I remember when it was shown on tv and I told my kids it was the scariest thing I've ever seen.
They watched about half hour, looked at each other, looked at me and burst out laughing. They said "okay mum, you obviously didn't get out much...Zelda in Terrahawks is scarier!" They were bored and unimpressed. |

Alice in Wonderland, the Disney cartoon one, when I was 5. Sat there in the front row absolutely spellbound by the enormous screen and the colours while eating my hot dog and drinking my kia ora orange drink. |

Used to go to the cinema every Saturday morning as a kid. You always had a short film and then a main feature.
The first movie I remember seeing outside of this set up was Watership Down, the day I went off rabbits
Big screen and surround sound was Top Gun |

a quandary, could you change my mind? |
I think it was starwars, although I do remember the Saturday morning children cinema (at the flea pit) but I can only remember "The Lone Ranger Rides Again" but was that a film or series? And Mickey Mouse cartoons.
