Watching last night episode and the guy picking one of the six women, he didn't pick the one I would have, but that irrelevant. they went on a few dates then when we got to the catch up six weeks later he told her he was seeing someone else ...What a Bastard. |

Most people on that show are extras though aren't they? Like most TV shows. Wannabe actors so desperate for work they'll do anything?
I know because I've seen the same "Couple" On three different dating shows
Me personally? I'd go on the show, but that's only because I like a little adrenaline.. and I like the presenter.
As for seeing someone? Things can change quickly in a short space of time. Maybe not such an arsehole, he had a commitment to the show, came back and was honest.

Which bit?
- Extras?
- Going on show?
- Fancying the presenter?
- Or not being a bastard? |

I think of doing the show myself actually, I have the link to the application. |

I think they set people up for that kind of thing on that show. A producer or editor with any discretion would have ensured that conversation took place away from the cameras. |

I don't understand how he's a bastard? Surely he would be more of a bastard for continuing to date her if he wasn't interested or for ghosting her instead? |

If someone told me they'd been seeing someone else on national telly my first reaction would be "bastard". I'd much rather they told me privately. |

"I just hate how it is about how someone looks and not who they are as an individual.
Puts out a vibe that personality doesn't count on that show. "
As opposed to all the other shows that are equally shallow, false and fake? |

"I love Naked Attraction, it's the go-to viewing pleasure on night shift at work
We watch like this . It's the bit where they walk off naked and alone after being rejected."
Haha yeah, there's been some pretty sad looking faces hasn't there! It's compelling viewing! |

There and to the left a bit |
It happens all the time on there it's the result of having to pick someone based on pretty much looks alone (with a tiny bit of personality thrown in at the end) so don't think he was that much of a bastard to be honest if he later found he got on better with one of the other contestants.
Totally agree with Genghis on some of the people being extras too - have seen a guy on there that was also on The Undateables and also a few of them have appeared on the show more than once.
I actually think it's an interesting experiment though and not that different from Fab in it's approach in that on here you tend to see people naked first, then see their face and only when you meet them do you get to hear their voice and get an idea of their true personality. |

I wouldn't go on it myself for that reason and the indignity of being revealed bit by bit to a t.v. audience from the bottom up. |

, I'm sure you wouldn't be.
I tend to avoid situations where there's a possibility of being publicly rejected |

I always wonder about the guys in the show.
1) why are most not groomed downstairs (especially as the women generally don't have a pube on them.
2) Is there something wrong with them that there are up to 6 lovely naked ladies in front of them and the DON'T have an erection??? |

I read that filming takes all day and the contestants are naked for all of it, so a minimum of 7 hours being naked. You'd get used to it very quickly.
The person choosing is only naked for 30 mins maximum.
After all that in an air conditioned studio that may be really cold I really doubt anyone would so turned on that they would get an erection! lol
I really enjoy the show. It's great viewing and it's always fun to see people naked! |

A friend of mine directed several episodes of Naked Attraction and the finished item seen on the screen is manipulated to suit the Producers.
Yes some are equity card holders, yes some are 'known' to the researchers taking applications and auditions and the timescale over which it takes to film and what is edited to show is vastly different to how it appears.
Some 'choices' are also predetermined for the participants.
It is an entertainment show that shows naked bodies and causes titillation and minor 'outrage'
The whole program and those who work on it do not take it seriously apparently and are surprised it is still going |
