My ruddy heating not working at mo as boiler on blink so huddled with the fire going full blast and awaiting the visit from the heating engineer tomorrow afternoon - thank god for boiler insurance |

We're in one of these A rated newbuilds and the heaters installed aren't really man enough for the job. It's never too cold, but not fantastically warm either.
It's candles in the bedroom later for some intimacy and warmth....

This is why burning wood is the most enviromentally friendly heat scource as you get three "warms" with wood! You get warm fetching it, you get warm cutting it and you get warm burning it!
I`ve been lighting the log burner early in the morning so Mum has a warm room to come into when she gets up. |
