When my coach, training partner is staring at my arse & telling me to drop my squat an inch lower, that's perfectly acceptable.
Anything else isn't.
But then I'm lucky with my gym.
It's got a female manager, equal female to male staff, several of those staff & members are world champions in their individual catorgaries.
Woman are not treated as sex objects at my gym.

I don't wear my glasses when I'm lifting.
If you're more than 2' from me. I can't even see you.
I used to get paranoid people think I'm staring at them.
But, most folk have now seen me walk into enough benches & racks, trip over stuff to know, I'm just blind  |

Isn't it sad that this is necessary. I get it, I do. But the ladies sections of gyms I've been to have always had worse equipment and less variety. Not saying it's the case where you are. But why should we pay the same rates for lesser facilities? Particularly when for most of us (there are religious reasons of course) it'd be solved by people not being creeps? |

Yes I think you probably are. Too easily distracted . Women aren't objects to be gauped at.
However they probably wouldn't mind if you took a surreptitious glance of appreciation of the female form . That is of course provided you don't think about what you would like to be doing to her |

Everyone just gets on with stuff in my gym. The only time I stare is when this one woman comes in and she can run on the treadmill at 14 mph which doesn’t sound a lot but it is fast and she’s hammering the treadmill and can run like the T-1000 from terminator 2, I am very very envious! |

It’s fucking amazing is what it is. Been next to her when she’s cranking the speed up, can see the belt whizzing, she puts one leg down to start off and you just know if you stood on that you’d fly off with some force! When she jumps on it’s just boosh boosh boosh boosh boosh, awesome to see. |

I love the heaven that is an empty quiet gym. I go to lift and do my thing. People I know might get spared a nod, but that is it.
It's odd how gym culture has changed. When I first started going after I left school it was a massive social scene. But with the advent of iPods and TVs in gyms that has gradually eroded. |

I'm in the gym to do what I have to. I zone out of everything and just lift. Quite often people will say something to me and i dont hear them, only when they tap my shoulder i realise. |

There you go OP, all that staring is ruining it for others. Best you stop going or take bromide tablets.
For similar reasons i cant go to my local swimming pool, when there's female only [sexist] swimming. Stupid thing is, being incredibly myopic without glasses i cant even see my own foot, let alone oggle.
Have to squint and get within 2 feet of them. Until i got banned haha
