Ok so I found out this really bizzare religious ritual which apparently still goes ok today. I'm not going to even mention what is but here's the YouTube link.

You confusing belief with assault two different things completely unacceptable there is no place in the modern world for anybody to be circumcised in the eyes of God male or female. |

it’s down to interpretation i guess, ive copied and pasted this from a story in the guardian:
