It's a site glitch that when someone puts the abbreviation for the word 'and' (the one above number 7 on keyboard)it comes out as 'amp'

it's a blip in the system...ive had to re-do my profile loads of times because the random amp word keeps appearing - usually when I use punctuation... particularly '&' and apostrophe s

^^^ cant type it properly even now!

not sure why it doesn't do it as much in the forum..... thought it was just my pc dicking though!

it's ampersand. That's the correct description of the symbol &.
