My Generals and I are trying to cobble together a Swingers camping trip.
We'd like to know (roughly) how much you'd be prepared to pay for a one night and a two night stay. How much you'd pay with basic facilities or glamping facilities.
Basic entertainment and ice breaking games to get people talking.
About 30 people maximum. Inclusive not exclusive.
Thoughts on a postcard to Karrakhorum. |

"On the case. Glamping with lecky and wifi for 2 nights would work out roughly around £70 per person x"
That sounds a lot, would think nearer 20 per night with leccy. We paid about 15 at various places last yr without.
(But just noticed you said glamping there so maybe more) |

I've been camping and it's usually £28 per night with lecky. Looking more for the glamping side x |

Big communal yurts would be great. I was all rustling damp canvas and a dodgy gas stove |

Never done glamping, camped when I was younger a lot, but as soon as I could afford it it was static caravans, self-catering apartments and eventually hotels. However glamping could be fun, but I’d expect to pay less than I would for a B&B if I am cooking myself |

At a glamping site? Either a chem loo, or a real one I'd imagine, plus toilet blocks as well. |

You're paying for the experience of being together in the great outdoors.
Most normal campsites cost anywhere from £15-40 a night per person. Dependant on demand and facilities.
We're looking to hire the whole site.. which bumps up the price a bit, but allows a bit more freedom and privacy.
Other option is to pitch up with normal people on an adult only site (again you'd pay more to be kid free). And behave ourselves as far as noise goes.. And any nudity would have to stay inside tents/campers.
Personally I'm fine with either, as long as it's affordable.
Privacy is good, but I also know how to behave respectfully in public and can keep my sexual moaning down to a minimum.. sharing a room with three other men for two years means I can pull off a stealth wank unnoticed |

Depends how you define glamping. To me glamping will typically have nice sleeping arrangement (tipi, yurt, nice size tent), proper toilets, warm showers and food and drink options. Price wise equivalent to spending a weekend at a club with hotel costs.
But that is just my point of view and it depends what crowd you are pitching it to. |

You're right.. so give me some prices based on those variables and limited info I gave you.
if you'd be so kind
We're not looking to profit in ANY way. But we don't want to be left owing any money
So if you want to help us, we'd love people's opinions on prices, dependant on varying facilities.
only 30 people. |

I think you may run it problems with the latter one, campsites unless they’re really basic ie a field and limited facilities are pretty hot when it comes to nighttime noise, with the best will in the world 30 people will be noisy! |

You're right. If we did do it in a public campsite.. we'd have to behave. I know I'm capable of behaving like an adult, but I can't vouch for some of my best mates, let alone strangers. It'd probably be more a case of spreading tents, rather than the ging-gang-goolies-are-out round the fire I was hoping for.
Which is why we'd prefer exclusive.
Which unfortunately means we have to rely on others and we all know how fickle swingers are. That it's like herding cats? |

If you are going to share a campsite with others then it really becomes camping with a social only and no swinging. Campsites will typically have families and kids and that does not go with swinging. Therefore you really want to hire the campsite for exclusive use for the weekend. |

Well that would depend on whether we invited social idiots or not surely? It's our intention to hire a site exclusively though. |

Because they wouldn’t have thought of that.
And anyway what’s wrong with a fun social. Does swinging have to be full on in public view???

Sounds like a good idea. Enjoyed camping but hated setting up and sorting everything so Glamping might suit me better. Lol.
I'd probs pay a bit more than £70 for 2 nights assuming the site was worth the extra money. Love a bit of time away. |

If we had our own site.. we'd have our own theme, ice breaking games, saucier games later on. Not mandatory.. and not quite an 18-30s Magaluf booze-fest. More chilled chaos.. with ideas to get you getting to know each other.
None of that costs extra, our dedication is free and not skimming off top or giving ourselves free entry. All costs split equally.
We just want to know.. what people would be willing to pay for an experience like that.
So we know what level of site to aim for. |

Last time I went camping we ended up at a real life pirate party in a big country house, but not dressed appropriately and standing out as the non-pirates, instead I was wearing a gimp mask in black with red eyes and mouth and a zip up the back and ended up getting off with a a terminally ill girl, having a real life pissing contest with a fat man and doing some in the drugs shed.... .....true story!
I prefer a hotel these days mind. Too old for waking up freezing cold and damp with a dead hip and a hangover....
Good idea though, enjoy yourselves and report back |

Most glamping your looking at about £100 a night in a bell tent.
