The government is bringing in new legislation on viewing porn online, proving your age maybe even having to go into a post office to prove your age and request an adult pass, how will this affect logging into fab, does this site come under the porn category or a dating site, just to add I do think it’s about time it was harder for children to access online porn |

Yes it will affect this site, but there is nothing to be done about it.
People will just have to pay attention to who they vote for. There will be no EU to stop the odd mad ideas that break your human rights. |

All that will happen is that kids will go out looking for abandoned copies of Razzle in abandoned cars in the woods again, like we used to in the late 80s/early 90s before they invented the Internet. And my mate's dad used to have a motorised satellite dish that picked up all the euro-smut. |

You say that but when it comes to the point I am sure a lot of EU legislation will be conformed with for reasons of ease and money saving. |

Every parent who provides their offspring with use of devices that can access the internet already has opted for them to have no adult content filtering. Home and mobile internet services are provided as standard with adult content blocked, until an adult gets the restriction removed. I'm assuming that the new restriction will still not achieve its aim.
I'm totally against this, as an adult purchaser of services, where I've already paid the government and ISPs to provide adult content restrictions as well as it being a restricion on privacy and my rights as an adult to live as I wish to. There is however money to be made in implementing a new system: so some will get rather rich from this. There are also issues of privacy and how details of users may become a problem in future. |

Yet another example of the nanny state , and yet another opportunity for someone to get rich quick by giving us something than we already have for free anyway . That being evidence that we are adults capable of making our own decisions as to what we watch on our devices .
And we just let this happen , like everything else we just allow it and whine when it’s too late . When were we asked about this ?
Who’s idea was it ?
Parents who don’t restrict the access their kids have are at fault , yet we all suffer as the result of bad parenting . Crazy . |
