I'm enjoying it, the first series was a little ropey in places but the second seems to have hit its stride. I like how the focus isn't on the captain but I'm enjoying Pike, nice throw back there. |

I am a complete and utter geek and don’t mind who knows it!
Love discovery, darker than I thought it was going to be but love that aspect
Really enjoyed the previous series as well, including voyager and DS9 and enterprise when they developed the story arcs across a series |

"I have to say I commend Netflix for making the best ever Star Trek series I am enjoying season 2 so much"
I’ve had this stored on my “to watch” list but haven’t gotten around to it yet.....so it’s worth it then? |

It's my Friday night Netflix treat really enjoying Season 2.
I only watched Enterprise quite recently though, despite it being an old series (it wasn't available here in Ireland), and so far that's my favourite of them all. |

It's great and different but still without their 7of9, Quark or Data. Species 8472
Maybe it happens in next few seasons.
Older ones still better for me but very glad they made a new one. |

It's an excellent series but sometimes it's way too far fetech and implausible to make any narrative sense.
Like why did Admiral Cornwell have to stay with the torpedo to pull the emergency lever? Because surly your smart enough to at least just tie a bit of string around the lever iland pull it from the other side. There would have been other options.
Also why did Discovery have go through the work hole? If it was too stop control they could have just used the spore drive. |

"Despite the logic in the last post, it was an awesome series, my question is where next though?
I hope they do a spin off with captain pike
He was brilliant in this series"
Well I was more bemused as to why there is only and emergency lever to close the door on the inside. Seems like a massive flaw in the ship design. If your going to have an emergency lever surly have it on the outside too. |
