How much of yourself do you reveal around here? I mean your actual life not your body!
I was just looking around thinking about how there are people on here I know an awful lot about but then there are others I know nothing.
Is it a conscious decision whether you reveal much about your personal life? Do you limit what you tell potential fab friends?
If you're someone happy to share your life stories then why is that? Does the online anonymity make it easier and do you ever worry about giving away too much? |

I find that people want to know every detail about each other, if you refuse to tell them you get accused of being married with 64 kids
Maybe it might just be that you like to keep fab and your vanilla life separate. |

I share less than I used to with people having been burnt by over sharing. However as trust builds I’m happy to reveal more. Even then I’m now much more selective in what I disclose and to whom. |

I'm an open book with chuff all to hide.
If I can give another person hope or the confidence to know they can come through adversity triumphantly then that's good enough for me.
I'm me, no airs, no graces just raw n frank. Some will appreciate it, others will despise it.
We learn by experience and sharing our experiences whether fab related or not

We have nothing to hide and pretty open. If we’re chatting, we are happy to do so. Especially if video chatting. Wouldn’t say too much on the forums though....not everything is for public consumption, especially family/kids details!! |

Far too much detail of my real life, especially my home life and work....! ....one day it'll catch up with me....
I think it'd be easier to lie tbh in was place like this, and a lot of folk here aren't very discreet with their lies, ppl just seem to accept that if you're online all day in a forum then you probably actually are a professional athlete, sex god and brain surgeon, and those fake pics probably are real, because then that makes them real life friends with an Olympic fucking doctor, and who doesn't want to be friends with one of them huh?!! Fantasy is perfectly plausible..... |

I’ve always been an open book, I am a really bad oversharer, I used to be really bad on all the social pages but cut back on that immensely over the past couple of years, I think here I can share lots of things that I wouldn’t share with people ‘I know’ (for example I was fed up of posting things on Facebook, No one commenting then when I get to work I’m the height of gossip, and no one even bothers to speak to me, so I stopped it, we haven’t even shared our promotion on Facebook yet!)
Plus also here, because there is such a range of topics if my experiences can help someone else out then I think it’s a good thing.
Doughnut is exactly the same as me.
