We never had a VHS at home when I was a kid, but I remember always spending time every weekend with a boyfriend at a 7-11 local store picking out a video and snacks! Nice memories

Halcyon days! Blockbuster was next to 7-11 and Pizza Hut. That was your night mapped out!

I can't remember what we rented, but my grandparents had a small Disney collection that my sister and I would watch when we stayed over. Dumbo was probably the first VHS I saw.

Loved those days. There was a Chinese take away by his 7-11 and an afternoon spent in bed! You’re right happy days..... we used to watch all the classic horrors (classic now!)

We were one of the first to have video recorder in our town,it was a beta max and it was about £750 back in 1979,we had to order film fromondon there were no video shops, I think it was a roller Derby video from america
