Even though I find it hard to understand why anyone would want to remove their nipple or split their tongue, surely it should be their choice. The tattooist who was given a 40 month sentence for carrying out the work I think was treated a bit harshly. The people he worked on were happy with what he's done so why ruin his life and tie up a prison cell, when money and resources might be better spent locking up actual criminals. What are your thoughts ?

I think the guys who had his ear removed felt duped by him as to what he was getting into.

He operated outside the law literally.

He wasn’t medically trained to do those modifications, The nipples have a lot of vascular parts, so a risk of bleeding infection etc, I think people have every right to have modified bodies but it needs to be done in clinical conditions by trained people for the more extreme ones a tattoo parlour isn’t the ideal place tbh, I feel for the guy and he shouldn’t have got that sentance

"he broke the law no??"

Yes. Consent is not a defence to ABH (actual bodily harm) or above in criminal law unless as part of a regulated sport (boxing, mma etc).
